The process of drilling oil and gas wells generates two primary types of wastes - used drilling fluids and drill cuttings
various solid and liquid additives used in drilling fluid are potentially toxic which must be considered when the resulting wastes are managed.
The main polluting agents are: biocides, oil, corrosion inhibitors, reservoir fluids (crude oil, brine), and other chemical components.
As per guidelines and regulation of state pollution control board and Central pollution control Board we collect all of generated waste in safe manner and transport the same by authorised transporters to valid and government approved Treatment, Storage, and Disposal Facilities (TSDF) for further disposal and treatment.
The treatment of contaminated drilling wate pit water can be done with the METP,
Mobile effluent treatment plant that cleans the effluents form the industry,
so that it can be recycled for further use. In this way, water is recycled and conserved.
It is technically proven that this treated Effluent water can be used for making Drilling Fluid.
The ETP has a great role to play in discharging the contaminated and
polluted water before releasing it back to the environment.
